The center also acquired a laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) system, which uses thermal energy to treat tumors, epilepsy and other conditions. Our interior feature is on the rebirth of VNA Homecare as Nascentia Health. VNA Homecare and its five a'liated entities are now Nascentia Health — a unified healthcare system building on the rich history of its predecessors by providing holistic, in-home care to a larger area of central and upstate New York. With roots that stretch back more than 125 years, to the 1890 founding of the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York, Nascentia Health reflects what VNA Homecare, VNA Homecare Options LLC, Home Aides of Central New York Inc. and their partner organizations have become: a healthcare system that is greater than the sum of its parts.
