More than 2,000 athletes and 500 coaches come together from throughout the entire state. Unity Health associates and volunteers served at the festivities during the weekend at the "Healthy Athletes" area, where participants learned about health-centered living. Unity Health stations distributed water bottles as prizes for playing Baggo, healthy snacks for learning how to "eat the rainbow" and sun protection for staying safe from UV rays at the outdoor games. At the 82nd annual White County Fair in Searcy, Unity Health held its yearly Senior's Day at the Fair, where nearly 1,000 locals came to enjoy entertainment, lunch, health screenings and recognition of veterans. Door prizes were given to a handful of selected winners, and the oldest man, woman and couple were also awarded. Vice President of Patient Services LaDonna Johnston addressed the audience, giving recent updates about the hospital. Nursing students of Arkansas State University-Beebe volunteered and provided blood pressure and blood sugar screenings and nutritional counseling.
