Andrea EDITOR When my daughter looks me in the eye and tells me she loves me more than the moon and stars, her little voice makes the words seem so much sweeter. Moments as a parent can be challenging, but her look of sincerity and her constant honesty as a first grader make it worth every moment. She has taught me to laugh at the small things, develop patience and take the time to have fun! what's inside ON THE COVER: Nutritionist, Sandi Herring, helps people use food for healing. Maggie EDITOR My 3-year-old, first-and-only nephew, Jack, is absolutely the most adorable little boy in the world to me. The first thing he always says when he sees me is, "Auntie M, want to play with me?" My heart melts, and I can't say no to playing cars, Play-Doh, ghosts or painting. He never fails to put a big smile on my face, no matter what else is going on in my life. Julia Morgan WRITER A lot of my friends are getting married or engaged, and it brings me so much joy knowing that they have found true love and happiness. It also melts my heart to see precious children — with their innocent little spirits and their hearts full of love — laugh and play and point out the good in the world that we as adults sometimes overlook.
