I had a vision and stuck to it! It has never felt like a job! It's been a lot of hard work but very rewarding. Money could never buy the rewards, the friends I've made and the support everyone has given me. As I celebrate 25 years of publishing, I've enjoyed working with the most professional photographers, writers, designer and a staŠ of dedicated people that have made B+A a successful publication. For years, I had publishers in New York, New Jersey, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and Baltimore. This included Builder + Architect, residential and commercial, Realtor magazines and MD News. The Greater Boston magazine has won many national publishing awards! To the builders, architects, subcontractors and suppliers, your support has kept me going. Every month, you're always there. I've had the same advertisers for all these years. If you count the issues I do in Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, it all adds up to around 300•magazines published. I enjoy the marketing and sales. It keeps me in touch with the best! This month, we feature Woodside Custom Homes/ Woodside Development's Mike Palmer. Mike comes highly recommended to me by one of my personal friends for 33 years, John Malone, real estate broker, Benoit Mizner Simon & Co. John was also the captain of the boat we had a lot of fun on. We go back to boating, fishing and having fun at the marina in Scituate every weekend. I caught the third biggest bluefish in the tournament, and John took it oŠ the hook for me. In fact, John and the team were taking bluefish oŠ our hooks as fast as we brought them in. Fun times and many great stories! A special thanks to John Trifone, Amy Bressler, Sertac Cakim, John Malone and Mike Palmer for all your help. The house was staged by Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams. The carpets are from Landry & Arcari. This was a terrific team that helped me pull this issue together. It was also a joy to meet the new homeowners for the home at Candy Hill.
