A W O R D FROM THE CEO 2 | WINTER 2019 As we begin a new year, many of us are in a goal-setting mode, creating a personal blueprint for our future. For me personally, I could not be more proud to begin serving as American Airlines Federal Credit Union's new President and CEO. It's an amazing honor to lead this organization that's so passionate about our purpose and focused on our members and each other. We have a lot of exciting changes in store for 2019, including a complete website redesign in the second quarter and some behind- the-scenes changes for our debit card processing in the third quarter. Also, construction is underway on our new headquarters — as part of the One Campus, One Team American Airlines initiative — with a targeted completion in the fourth quarter. For you, our members, the new year is a chance to draw your own fi nancial blueprint. Our resolution is to help every member achieve fi nancial wellness by providing helpful services such fi nancial check-ups, credit monitoring, educational seminars and products designed to get you on the right fi nancial track. As with every issue of ® , there's lots of great material here, including things that impact your credit score (Page 4), good habits for budgeting (Page 9), goals for fi nancial wellness (Page 16) and much more. And you can rest assured that despite all of the changes the new year may bring, what isn't changing is the Credit Union's dedication to serving as an advocate for all of our members and helping them improve their fi nancial well- being. I look forward to all of us building a bright future together. All the best, Gail Enda President & CEO President & Chief Executive Offi cer Gail K.
