Amped encourages children to get active every day before school and for 25 schools around the U.S., this program will be absolutely free. Amped is part of PHIT America's national GO! Grants program that aims to help increase physical activity before, during or after school by providing schools with effective physical activity programs such as Amped. The new PHIT America videos – "Creating Healthier & Smarter Kids – The Power of Physical Education" – can be found on Videos.PHITAmerica.org. With the launch, PHIT America will be providing tools to PE teachers to raise funds for their school. "With Amped in place before school we will get the students' brains primed to have a great learning experience during the day," explains PHIT America founder Jim Baugh. "There is no better way for these local children to start their school days than getting Amped — running and walking together." For more information: www.PHITAmerica.org. Applications are open until January 31, 2019. Sports, Inc.
