Meet the Physicians Omar Khan, MD SPECIALT Y: ADULT UROLOGY Dr. Khan attended The Ohio State University and returned to Toledo to obtain his medical degree, after which he completed six years of training in urology and renal transplantation at The University of Toledo Medical Center. Dr. Khan treats a variety of urologic disorders and is dedicated to providing leading-edge treatments with an emphasis on minimally invasive and robotic surgery. Dr. Khan is also a educator who spends time teaching residents in his practice. He currently sees patients at the McCord, Defiance, Wood County and Mercy Health–St. Vincent Medical Center Outpatient Specialty Clinic locations. He regularly operates at Mercy Health–St. Vincent Medical Center, St. Luke's Hospital, Mercy Health–Defiance Hospital, Wood County Hospital and The Toledo Clinic Outpatient Surgery Center. Hesham Mostafa, MD SPECIALT Y: ADULT UROLOGY Dr. Mostafa received his bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from The Ohio State University. After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Mostafa recently completed his residency in urology at The University of Toledo Medical College. He specializes in general urology, minimally invasive and advanced robotic surgeries. Dr. Mostafa has a special interest in global health care. He has completed medical mission trips in the West Indies and West Africa, during which he and his team were able to perform a variety of surgeries that included reconstruction, kidney transplantation, oncologic and pediatric procedures. Bradley Buck, MD SPECIALT Y: ADULT UROLOGY Dr. Buck attended the University of Michigan, where he was involved in a multitude of biomedical research projects. He has authored several papers, meeting abstracts and a book chapter. He was named director of a laboratory at the medical school and graduated with high honors in biology. Following graduation, he obtained a master's degree from Georgetown University in physiology and biophysics before returning to Toledo for medical school and residency. Dr. Buck is the recent author of several urology publications and a popular textbook for aspiring urology medical students. As a chief resident, he scored in the top 1 percent of the nation on his yearly in-training examination, and was recently recognized as having one of the top scores on his urology board exam. Daniel Murtagh Jr., MD SPECIALT Y: ADULT UROLOGY Dr. Murtagh Jr. received his bachelor's degree from Miami University, after which he completed his Master of Science and Biomedical Sciences degree and obtained his medical degree at The University of Toledo. Dr. Murtagh Jr. completed six years of training in urology and renal transplantation at The University of Toledo Medical Center. Dr. Murtagh Jr. treats an array of urologic disorders. Part of his practice is dedicated to medical education and is involved with teaching residents. He currently sees patients at the Toledo McCord office, Maumee Urology clinic, Paulding County Hospital, Henry County Hospital and Mercy Health– St. Vincent Medical Center Outpatient Specialty Clinic locations.
