HOSIERY Thorlos' First Nation sock line is a collection of performance socks celebrating Native Americans, with 5 percent of profits before expenses going to the American Indian College Fund. Run Strong is a new trail running sock brand from the team at Fox River. The performance socks will benefit Running Strong For American Indian Youth (RSFAIY), with $1 from each pair sold benefitting RSFAIY. Pictured is the Canyon Quarter Crew. Darn Tough Vermont's Sobo Micro Crew with Cushion, $21, is lightweight and breathable with targeted cushioning for comfort and durability where it is needed the most. LP Support's Trail Running Compression socks feature targeted compression to support the calf and the arch, as well as graduated compression. A Beehive Ventilation Structure offers breathability and wicks away heat. Balega's UltraGlide, $16, features a friction- free yarn combined with proprietary Drynamix yarn throughout the sock to minimize the risk of chafing or rub spots. Bridgedale's Hike Ultra Light T2 sock features a Coolmax blend that wicks moisture away while still being soft to the touch and quick drying. MSRP $14.99 (ankle height). Farm To Feet's Moab sock, $21, is the latest addition to the Farm to Feet Outdoor Community collection. Moab, a gateway community to Arches National Park, is synonymous with the Delicate Arch which is prominently featured in the socks. Wigwam's Surpass Lightweight Mid Crew features SynchroKnit construction for a non- slip fit by strategically reducing bulk and excess yarn. The sock hugs the details of the foot and cradles the arch. OS1st's BR4 Bunion Relief sock is a split- toe sock designed to prevent blistering and callusing by separating the hallux. It also has a bunion pad to help ease pain and prevent friction against the shoe. June 2019 • Outdoor Insight • 27 outdoorinsightmag.com
