ARCHWRIGHT Fine Home Builders & Estate Management PHOTOGRAPHY: GREG PREMRU PROJECT: Marion, MA BUILDER: ARCHWRIGHT | Fine Home Builders & Estate Management INTERIOR DESIGN: Jennifer Miller Studio ARCHITECT: SV Design This multi-tiered, two-year renovation involved restoration of both the guest and main houses and was completed this spring. ARCHWRIGHT rebuilt the entire external envelope, including rough framing, siding, cedar roof and installed Marvin Windows. The previous living room had been very dark, so in an effort to lighten the space, the team determined to elevate the ceiling height to 14 feet. Additionally, larger windows were installed, changing the entire feel of the first floor. Now, with increased natural light in the space, the designer was free to introduce dark tones, complementing the owner's taste. Your Vision, Our Execution A N AIR OF rightfulness and truth permeate these rooms. Each ARCHWRIGHT home, whether it be a coastal com- munity waterfront or a historic Beacon Hill brownstone, exudes precision and truth of character. Nothing in its arrangement raises an eyebrow. On the contrary, one cannot imagine the floor pla n to have been other wise. Not obvious nor even necessa rily intuitive to the layman, the design and execution are nevertheless exactly perfect. 1 0 | bOSTON.bUILDERARCHITECT.COM Builder+Architect GREATER bOSTON COVER FEATURE
