G
erman footwear brand ara is
releasing its highest heel ever
for Spring 2020 — 80mm — in
its new Frauke Ludowig col-
lection. The line will feature
ara's HighSoft technology and
will be available across North
American markets.
"We have had great success with our pumps
featuring HighSoft and we think women are going
to love both the height and comfort they will find
with the Frauke collection," says Sam Spears,
president of ara Shoes North America. "This
collection exemplifies our goals to combine
the highest quality and perfect fit with fashion
forward design."
HighSoft tech from ara fuses the feeling of
comfortable sneakers into pumps and ballet
footwear styles. Soft uppers, a highly flexible
outsole, a supple and padded insole and a foam
insert hidden under the ball of the foot combine
to offer a comfortable walking experience.
The Frauke high heel collection was first
launched in Germany in 2019 and is a collabora-
tion with German television star Frauke Ludowig
and ara chief designer Ralf Schlachter. With
a heel height of 80mm, combined with the
HighSoft technology, this line aims to
make some waves in the comfort
footwear market. l
