American Airlines Credit Union and the Flight Symbol are marks of American Airlines, Inc. There's been a lot of upheaval and change since we last spoke in our spring issue of ™. The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has deeply impacted the lives of people around the world. As an essential service, American Airlines Federal Credit Union learned to adapt quickly in order to be as helpful as possible for our members at the time they needed us most. I've never been prouder to lead this amaz- ing Credit Union team who care for our members and each other and understand the importance of building stronger and safer communities. You can read about the many ways the Credit Union went above and beyond (Page 20) and hopefully share in my enormous sense of pride. Of course, there's still much work to be done, and you can take com- fort in my promise that we'll leverage our position of strength and continue to do everything we can to offer assistance to any of our members facing uncertainty. We were founded 84 years ago by aviation pioneers and our member- ship remains focused on people with connections to air transportation, including current and former airline personnel, people in businesses connected to the airline industry and generations of family members. We know the pride, resiliency and determination of the people in this industry and are honored to serve them now. You'll fi nd lots of helpful information in this, our fi rst online-only issue of ™, with pieces relevant for the times in which we live, including stories on creating the perfect home offi ce (Page 10), keep- ing your personal and small business fi nances separate (Page 12), getting back-to-basics on budgeting (Page 16), avoiding "spoofi ng" scams (Page 48) and much more. But regardless of whatever challenges you may face in the coming months, American Airlines Credit Union will always be at your side. Take care, Gail Enda President & CEO
