The main take-away is that credit scores will generally be higher for people who already have good scores and fi nancial habits. Consumers with lower scores who tend to rely on debt more will likely see lower scores. The FICO credit score is just one of several scores from diff erent sources that may be used by lenders and other businesses to evaluate consumers' creditworthiness. The free monthly credit score update available to American Airlines Federal Credit Union members comes from another source, TransUnion, which hasn't announced major changes to its formula.
