Cycling sales in the U.S.
for the month of April, the
first month since tracking
began that sales have hit $1
billion. According to NPD,
typical April bike sales are
between $550 and $575
million. Sales of children's
bikes sales jumped 107
percent for the month, and
lower-priced adult leisure
bike sales rose 203 percent.
