Ritter, who brings more than 18 years of experience in nursing leadership, is currently Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at United Regional Health Care System in Wichita Falls, Texas. "I'm really excited about joining the team of incredible professionals at Wesley and becoming part of their tradition of excellence," Ritter said. "From my first look at the award-winning achievements of Wesley Healthcare to my interactions with everyone during my visit there, I've known that this is a place where I can make a positive difference in the lives of my new colleagues and in the community." Having grown up and trained in the Midwest, Ritter said she is looking forward to being closer to family and immersing herself in a new community. "We're so pleased that Jane will be joining our team as CNO," said Bill Voloch, CEO of Wesley Healthcare. "She brings proven, transformational leadership skills that will encourage the highest levels of performance, promote collaboration and accountability, and build a highly engaged culture. I'm sure our nursing team will be excited to work with her, and I look forward to seeing her impact across our organization." A registered nurse for more than 30 years, Ritter holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in nursing administration from the University of Iowa. She is enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the University of Texas at Arlington. She also is board certified as Nurse Executive - Advanced. n M D N E W S .
