Regenerative Wool Scales Up HDWool and the Savory Institute have partnered to bring Land to Market verified regenerative wool to brands and manufacturers across the global wool trade. This will be the first model of regenerative British wool which is committed to sup- porting producers with a new route to market, while providing brands with regenerative sourc- ing solutions and consumers with dynamic buying choices. HDWool is a leading sup- plier of traceable, natural and biodegradable wool insulation for apparel. "We provide techni- cal wool insulation for anyone who defines quality beyond what they can see and touch and who are conscious of their environmental impact," states Jo Dawson, CEO, HDWool, a business built on the expertise of four generations, from sheep farming in Yorkshire to interna- tional wool trading. "The partnership with HD Wool is a vital step for Land to Market as we grow our member base and look to provide more turnkey traceable wool solutions for brands," says David Rizzo, CEO of the Land to Market pro- gram. "We have been working closely with HDWool and our Savory Institute UK hub, 3LM, for nearly two years to formal- ize this partnership, so getting to this point is a considerable milestone in scaling the program and accelerating more verified regenerative supply into the marketplace." As a member of the Land to Market program, HDWool is investing in capacity growth and aligning with partners on shared values, whether that be through an ability to segre- gate wool types, working with processors, or maintaining attributes through the value chain. In return, Land to Market is connecting HDWool to wool producers with verified regener- ative landscapes––backed by the empirical evidence of Ecological Outcome Verification, Savory Institute's peer-reviewed land monitoring protocol that has been deployed on two million acres worldwide. "HDWool is solving the need of the apparel market to innovate with natural, microplastic- free active insulation with the essential benefit of regenerative sourcing," highlights Jo Dawson. "This helps global outdoor and fashion brands to give their customers the purchasing power to make positive changes for their local landscapes and producers." l Devan Tech is Oeko-Tex Approved Devan's latest technology, R-Vital Multivitamin, meets the requirements of the Standard 100 by Oeko-tex (Class II). Helly Hansen's Mono Material line, designed with a garment's entire life cycle in mind, is expanding for the upcoming season with three new outerwear pieces built on the idea of making garment- to-garment recycling easier. Pieces from the Urban lifestyle range include the Mono Material Rain Coat, the Mono Material Insulator and the Mono Material Rain Jacket. When recycled into new materials, mono materials- maintain a higher quality than mixed fibers; and for consum- ers, these singular material garments deliver longer-lasting performance and protection while being easier to care for. Helly Hansen believes the Mono Material collection is an impor- tant step forward in supporting a circular economy and ultimately reducing waste. l The entire Mono Material Rain Coat, except the zipper, is made of polyester that can easily be recycled. The 100 percent waterproof, breathable coat, with back yoke ventilation with mesh fabric, features stitch-free quilting, recycled lightweight insulation.
