The stately, 12,000-square-foot mansion invites visitors
back to the bygone era of the roaring '20s with an abundance
of charm and elegance. The vestibule leads to an impressive
oak-paneled foyer with 10-foot ceilings that flow through
the entire first floor. The Moravian tile floor is composed of
Mercer tiles, which can also be found in the Museum of Fine
Arts in Boston, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and
the Rockefeller mansion. From here, three archways lead to
an enchanting sunroom, also known as a loggia. The formal
library boasts coffered ceilings and triple crown molding.
The home has eight fireplaces, all with original marble and mahogany mantels.
