Headsweats Stretches its Boundaries
Most runners are familiar with Headsweats for its performance hats and
accessories, but the brand is also aiming to make a name in apparel, and
this spring Headsweats unveiled a women's Active Line, featuring long sleeve
tops, singlets and Eco Ultra Bands all made with Repreve fabric. The line
also includes leggings and tanks.
"Creating a style line specifically for women has been a passion project
of ours for years and we're excited to finally bring it to fruition" said Magui
Martinez-Pena, sales manager at Headsweats. "Our goal with these products
is to offer women the opportunity to create multiple looks by mixing and
matching the vibrant colors of the collection. Whether it's yoga class, hiking
or even walking the dog, we want women to reach for our apparel knowing
it seamlessly integrates comfort, function and style at an affordable price."
Hoka One One's Growth Opportunity
Deckers-owned brand Hoka One One has built itself into one
of the leading footwear options for runners and is investing in
growing its apparel, too. Stylish and run-centric items in
the apparel line include standouts such as Hoka One One's
Speedgoat Trail Short, which offers a smart storage system
to securely carry anything from a key to a jacket and energy
bar or a soft hydration flask. The $78 short features soft 4-way
stretch woven fabric that wicks away moisture. And Hoka's
$58 Merino Blend Short Sleeve shirt is a next-to-skin layer
designed to be an ideal choice for trail running or hiking. Its
Merino wool helps regulate body temperature, resists odors
and is soft to the skin. n
