Fourteen years ago, five land-loving dreamers with shallow pockets launched a real estate brokerage called Whitetail Properties. What we lacked in capital, we made up with hard work, strong values, perseverance, and authenticity. Authentic in the sense that we were who we said we were. Prior to creating Whitetail Properties, we individually invested in agricultural and recreational properties. So, you can imagine, we dealt with many real estate brokerages and their agents. We realized there was an absence of integrity, work ethic, and accountability in the real estate land business through these dealings. Our mission from day one is to provide the best possible service to people interested in buying or selling land while also being a bright enough beacon to help direct misguided real estate agents regardless of which brokerage they represent. Sure we are all in business to make money and jockeying for the attention of buyers and sellers, but we all have the same responsibility to raise expectations, accountability and dependability of the real estate industry as a whole. When we set out, we wanted to buck the traditional trend of opening franchises and remain a single, consistent, and incredibly strong brokerage. Brokers that franchise are leasing their brand to independent brokers and agents. For the most part, these brokers only operate with their best interest in mind, and the reputation of the brand is in the hands of others. That's not how we operate. Every one of our Land Specialists are a Whitetail Properties exclusive real estate agent. Entire departments within our organization work every day, focusing on training, mentoring, guiding, promoting, and supporting every one of them.
