Outlook: The Hoggers were poised to be a deep team last year and ended up play- ing regular 11-v-11 scrimmages that were of interest to college coaches. The depth is back this fall, with Boadi the anchor in the middle. Perkins up top, Pigola in the midfield, and young players Omoniwa-Houston and Britton also are players to watch for a team that's a legit title contender again in Class A. 5. South Kent Coach: Owen Finberg 2019 record: 19-0, won NEPSAC Class B championship College committed players: none Other key players: Ethan Prescott, sr., B/M; Adrian Trott, sr., LB; Aiden Williams, sr., LW; Alejandro Fuentesal, jr., AM; Emilio Lozano, sr., M; Alex Halevy, sr., F Outlook: There were no Cardinals committed in late August, but Finberg feels this squad will produce another series of Division 1 players in time. The roster is composed of players largely from Bermuda, Africa, South and Central America, and Connecticut, some of whom had a hand in the unbeaten season of 2019. "We have great depth and a high level of competition on a daily basis," said Finberg. Newcomers to watch include Halevy, who was the Gatorade Player of the Year in California a¥er scoring 43 goals for Garces Memorial High School in Bakersfield. 6. Taft Coach: Ozzie Parente 2019 record: 16-2, lost to Worcester Academy in NEPSAC Class A semifinals College committed players: Kelvin "KK" Baffour, sr., M (Notre Dame);  continued on Page 45 Nobles sophomore forward Alex St. John
