This is even, or maybe especially, true in the basement. Often an inconspicuous, tucked-away door opens a dark stairwell to a dark basement. In contrast, this bright stairwell with high ceilings is emblematic of what is yet to be revealed on the lower level. The basement boasts 9' ceilings with ample living space to include a recreation room, bar, billiard area and home gym. Great proponents of the walk-out basement, the Corrigan's reason that the lower level, if done well, can provide a great deal of additional square footage while still offering luxury living and generous natural light. A home's curb appeal is easy banter and a chief consideration for builders and homeowners. Yet, the back of the house seems so often neglected, an afterthought at best. The rear façade of the Corrigan home is, however, quite striking, beseeching one to step yet further back into the yard to fully take it in. The home is quite simply a showstopper, from any vantage point and more importantly, it is the Corrigan's crowning achievement. Since returning to the states and founding Corrigan Lu x ur y Homes t welve yea rs a go, t he compa ny ha s overseen the design and construction of 50+ luxury home builds.
