They wanted the kitchen to be a place in which they could easily entertain but have
it still reflected their informal personality. They opted for two islands: a prep island
and a dining island (differentiated by the waterfall countertop). Eight people can
be seated comfortably, inviting easy family conversation. Always with an eye on
the view, the homeowners opted for minimal upper cabinetry, confining it to one
sidewall only. The kitchen delivers in pairs: two islands and two pantries.
