Understanding the needs and wants of the homeowner is critical, and how they might most benefit from integrated technology. Part of that process, of course, involves helping them envision what is possible. Just as the preconstruction phase is critical to the success of any build, so is the case with home technology integration. Being involved in the early design phase with trade partners and the client is a critical step in achieving maximum functionality with minimum disruption to the aesthetic. There is so much potential in this field that many don't realize exists. The public has come to expect automated lights and thermostats, and maybe automated window shades. Music and audio programming, network, security and energy systems also should be integrated. "We can tell how much power your dishwasher is drawing on a given Tuesday," should you want that information, and "advise and program it to only run during off-peak hours. We specialize in integrating complex information and funneling it a single source that can be controlled either through sophisticated touch panels, smart phone devices or voice control," depending on customer preference and capability. "We make the complex simple," Jen explained. Scheduling a Level Up design consultation is easy and complimentary. Each project has a dedicated team member to understand technolog y needs and preferences. Our team then designs a strategy to streamline automations focusing on the client and how they dream of experiencing their new home. "One of our very favorite undertakings is to create a scene or ambiance for clients by cuing multiple technologies at once," much like a maestro conducting a symphony orchestra. Having established itself so early in this emerging field, Level Up is frequently tapped to speak at trade shows or invited to consult on other industry projects. For instance, Jen has been spearheading electric vehicle charging and smart home energy automation systems for the last twelve months. "We can install a nd integ rate cha rg ing stations, even to a llow for remote cha rg ing at a ny scheduled interval. Everything we scope and install we carry in our greater Boston showroom for demonstration purposes," Jen noted. Technolog y has long delighted and confounded its user. However, under the trained and expert guidance of the Level Up Automation team, home automation functionality is being made both accessible and experience focused. "We want our clients to love their smart home automation system on day one and for every day thereafter—we check in. We don't lose touch. Technology is a relationship, and we see our clients and business partners as lifetime partners in this ever-evolving industry." n Level Up Automation—Book a private appointment online at LevelUpYourHome.com or text or call 800-979-2791.
