112 112 | M O U N TA I N For Montana Land Specialist, Ray Primmer, the outdoors and land stewardship has been in his blood from an early age. Ray started as a youngster helping his grandfather and father plant and maintain their small homestead farm in central Illinois. Ray explained, "my grandfather was a workhorse and an outdoorsman…that is where I get my unquenchable desire and love for the land and the animals that live on it." As fate and luck would have it, a dream of Ray's came true in 1998 when his Air Force career began and brought him to Big Sky Country, Montana. One of the few in his family to finish his college degree, it is admirable that he soared in service to our country and separated himself throughout his military career. A career which culminated in leading and teaching thousands of our country's finest men and women as a decorated officer and mentor. "Chronicling, understanding, photographing, and hunting the animals that call Montana home is my passion, and I have been blessed to harvest game from across the state and country. My family and I have been fortunate to purchase, develop, and sell several properties thus understanding the challenges and excitement of land ownership. One of my greatest joys is being able to share my experiences and love for the outdoors with my clients and find them the tract of their dreams." Ray was the first agent in Montana when Whitetail Properties expanded to the state in 2019. His ethics, personality, and integrity have served him well, as witnessed by the 100% positive client feedback since his start in the state. His drive and dedication led him to be named Montana's team leader in charge of the development and oversight of agents assigned territories in Big Sky Country. "I try to treat everyone as I want to be treated in life and in my career. It is the golden rule for a reason. That includes calling a spade a spade and being transparent through the entire transaction. The intangible for me is all the lifetime friends I have made...that started out as clients on the phone. I am blessed to be a part of this team of highly competent professionals!"
