They're also deeply involved in research, and we share some of their most recent studies and clinical trials with you. Penn State Health has developed a network of centers across the region so patients can receive cardiac care close to home. In our cover story, we report on some of the latest news from those centers. Our clinical section on cardiology reports on increased myocarditis risk following Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination. While the risk appears to be real, it is less than the danger of myocarditis associated with the disease itself.
