Can anyone deny that things go better with friends? Is it
not a universal truth? You go out with friends, have dinner
with friends, see movies with friends, go camping with
friends — and sometimes you just hang out with friends
and talk about stuff friends talk about. If things didn't go
better with friends, all of these things wouldn't happen.

Land of opportunity.
Speaking of friends, more and more people are buying
land together for recreational purposes. So, we thought
we'd give you an example of a couple of friends who
purchased land together, tell you their story, and give you
a few tips in the chance that you have been or might be
thinking about such a purchase in the future.
Meet Brandon and Sean.
As Brandon tells it, he and Sean are at pretty much the
same place in life. Each married and each with kids around
the same age. Oh, and they both go to the same church,
outside of Nashville, where they met about thirteen years
ago. Then, after knowing each other for five years or so,
they started hunting together. At first, they would lease
land to hunt on and talk about the "money they were
spending" and dreams about what "could be" if they had
their own land.
Debt or Investment?
Perhaps the one thing holding them back from buying
land was Brandon's reluctance to take on debt, which is
understandable. It's always kind of scary, to be honest.
Luckily, Brandon was able to switch his mindset from debt
to investment just in time to live the dream. Once Brandon
saw the purchase as an opportunity to one day get a
return on his investment, while simultaneously enjoying
his and Sean's new property, it was a go.
