condominium apartment building project
in Boston's storied Fenway/Symphony
neighborhood. This job required extensive
renovation to both the deteriorated exterior and interior common areas, as well as
a major facade renovation, which entailed
a complete window replacement and new
exterior cladding.
Tilkin's contemporary design of the interior lobby mimics a minimalist boutique
hotel, juxtaposing the industrial aesthetic
with highly refined contemporary furniture, finishes and lighting. Renovations
to the building 's exterior focused on
the replacement of the inferior building
materials installed in the 1970s, when the
original garage structure was converted to
residential lofts. Those deficient materials
