(with 1 being the most important). 1. Selection 2. Price 3. Location 4. Service 5. Atmosphere 6. Speed If the color they had was not one I liked. I'm pretty loyal to my primary running store. Female 53 Availability of shoe color or significantly better price. If the price is within $15, I'll just buy the shoe in the store. Male 34 To see if the shoe fit before I ordered it online for a lower price. Male 45 Proper running shoes should be tried on at a store. If I am window shopping I may check on line later and purchase if I can get a comparable product for a cheaper price. Male 51 Usually rewards program or incentives for online purchases. Male 35 Price has been the motivating factor. Usually when a new model has come out and the previous model is on sale online, but not in store. Male 40 Only if it is a repeat purchase. I support the local running store for the first purchase then price shop online. Female 59 Usually price. If the store will match the price I can get online, I purchase at the store Male 50 Already had price in mind and needed to verify size. Much cheaper online. Male 53 Pricing. I wanted to try on the shoe prior to purchasing. Online pricing plus shipping was cheaper than in-store price. Male 40 I wanted to research the product further, make sure I still wanted it the next day, and make sure I got the best price for it. If it wasn't the best at the store I tried it on at then I'll get it online. Female 45 I found a great comfortable running shoe at a running store for $125. I checked online to see if that was accurate pricing, and they were on sale online for $80 because they were about to release the newer version. Male 52 I went to the brand website as they had more color options in stock. Female 35 I like to go in to size and feel the shoe, then purchase online for a better rate.
