lanca Gonzalez, a 19-year veteran at Nike Inc., who
most recently served as VP of North America Product
Merchandising, is moving to Foot Locker, Inc. She has
been hired as the SVP/GMM of WSS, the neighbor-
hood-based retailer acquired by Foot Locker in 2021.
At WSS, which generated $604 million in 2022 revenues from
115 stores and its online business, Gonzalez will be charged with
building the talent and operational capabilities that will enable the
business to reach $1 billion in annual sales.
"I have watched WSS grow its footprint in Latino communities
by investing in authentic and culturally relevant touch points with
its customers," Gonzalez said in a statement. "WSS has proved to
demonstrate a high level of cultural awareness that honors and
respects the richness of the Latino experience." n
