The Hammond House, First Period home in the Olde Chestnut Hill neighborhood. Great care was taken in preserving the property's warmth of
historic details while transforming the key living areas. Historical research was done with great diligence, for example, on the proper paint color
for the exterior. In collaboration with the Chestnut Hill Historical Commission, the research led to the Paul Revere House in Boston's North End.
The architect was able to obtain the exact formula for the historical paint color and specify it for the Hammond House. Contemporary intervention
in balance with the home's traditional character makes the home unique. With original wooden beams, ornate moldings and original fireplaces,
every corner exudes elegance and refinement. When it's time to entertain, this home has everything needed to impress. Spacious living and dining
areas are perfect for hosting intimate gatherings or gracious entertaining. Finally, for those who demand the best in convenience and luxury, this
home features a two-car garage and smart technology throughout. Restored to maintain its historical charm, this is a truly unique property.
