The Whitetail Properties Way: When my partners and I started Whitetail Properties, we had a lot of ideas for changing how real estate companies do business. We were tired of seeing an industry made up of part- time, non-professionals pretending to be qualified to assist land buyers and sellers with the most important financial decisions of their lives. Compound that with the responsibility of representing God's Creation, and it leaves a person wondering why most states make it so easy to obtain a real estate license. Not to mention, most brokers do not ask the right questions when interviewing prospective agents. Sadly, they don't care because they are in the numbers business. If you pass your state examination, they will hire you. Most of them provide little to no training or support. By comparison, it is much more difficult to get hired at Whitetail Properties than it is to obtain a real estate license. We only hire honorable people who are passionate about land and professional in their dealings with others, and you can bet we will ask some very straight questions. Real estate experience is not required because we offer the best training in the country. There is nothing traditional about the way Whitetail Properties runs its business. We could write a book about everything we do differently, especially how we focus on serving rather than making it all about the sale. From the beginning, we aim to provide our clients and customers with the best land buying or selling experience ever. This mindset begins with forgetting about our commission and ultimately committing to serving. Sure, we must earn money to stay in business. However, agents and brokers will financially suffer when they focus on how much they will make off their clients rather than how well they serve them. Working in your client's best interest is impossible when you are more concerned with your best interest. I've heard of agents from other companies taking their time putting listings on their websites or signs on the properties they've listed. They do this to find a buyer before other agents know of the listing so they do not have to split the commission. I've also heard of agents who neglect to tell their clients the best-selling solution for their specific property. An example would be proposing an auction for income producing property. Even though they know an auction would likely sell their client's particular property faster and for more money than a conventional listing, but they could personally earn less. These two acts of greed are a few commission dollars wise, but millions of repeat business and referral dollars ignorant, and a betrayal of their client's best interest. As a land buyer and client myself, I wish every business would focus on serving their customers rather than serving themselves. Everyone can relate to how much faster most companies answer their sales line and how much longer you are put on hold when calling their service line. Conversely, at Whitetail Properties, we greatly appreciate your business and stand ready to serve you with the same commitment, dedication, and respect as when we sold your farm or helped you buy a new one. The only difference after the sale is that you're no longer our customer because you are now part of our family. Dan Perez, Principal Partner, Co-founder WELCOME TO AMERICAN LAND
