Mount To Coast won an ISPO award in 2023, with its midsole tech and innovative materials highlighted by ISPO. Company execs say they are aiming to become the world's leading brand in ultra-distance footwear over the next few years. Pictured above is the R1, a $180 ultra-distance track racer. Also launching is the S1, a $160 ultra-distance road runner. Both utilize TunedCell, Mount To Coast's optimized supercritical foaming process that is designed to improve rebound and durability. PUSHING THE LIMITS SKECHERS e brand officially entered the performance basketball space in October, with New York Knicks power forward Julius Randle and Los Angeles Clippers shooting guard Terance Mann as the first professional athletes competing in Skechers basketball shoes. e initial launch includes two distinct mid-top styles: SKX Resagrip and SKX FLOAT, fusing tech and comfort. SKX Resagrip is designed for players who move at top speed with next-level cushioning and responsiveness to accommodate quick and explosive movements. e SKX FLOAT is built for players seeking more stability, with strategically placed TPU to help lock the foot in place. Low-top basketball styles from Skechers will drop this Spring. DECKERS X LAB Styles in the Deckers X Lab line combine the performance tech of Deckers' brands with comfort and athleisure style. e new MAX 40 SPSK (above) has a sheepskin upper built onto an ultra-sized midsole made of next-generation super foam for responsiveness and performance. It delivers a mix of comfort, warmth, and flexibility for everyday pursuits. Available in both a Tall and Mid height, the MAX 40 SPSK is lined with 10mm of premium shearling for a plush interior. ese $280 durable water-repellent boots combine slipper- like comfort with the ability to "go beyond the mailbox for everyday exploration."
