Pamela Vachon is a freelance food
and beverage writer and educator
based in Astoria, New York, whose
work has appeared in Bon Appétit,
Wine Enthusiast, and VinePair, among
others. Formerly a bartender and
captain at New York's two–Michelin
star restaurant, The Modern (where
her cheese education began as a driver
of a tableside cheese trolley), she is
also a certified sommelier, and leads
cheese, wine, and cocktail tastings
through Murray's Cheese and Night Inn
(Ruminations, p. 64).
Anabelle Doliner is a writer, editor,
and fact-checker based in Brooklyn,
New York. Most recently, she worked
as an editor at Food52, where she
expanded the website's coverage of new
cookbook releases, food industry news,
and more. Originally from Los Angeles,
she's been an avid (some might say
obsessive) home cook since childhood
(In Season, p. 10).
Alyssa Langer is a registered dietitian,
recipe editor, freelance food writer, and
avid home cook. Her work, which spans
from cookbooks to restaurant reviews
to product roundups, and everything
in between, has been featured in Eater,
USA Today's Reviewed, EatingWell,
America's Test Kitchen, and the Spruce
Eats. When she isn't writing or editing,
she can be found shopping at her local
farmers' market, checking out the
latest restaurants, or planning her next
culinary travel adventure (Q&A: Cam
Smith, p. 16).
Cathryn Haight is a Boston-based
writer and editor covering all things
food, weddings, and lifestyle. Her words
have appeared across The Knot, Saveur,
and Apartment Therapy, among others,
and she is a contributing author to the
DK Eyewitness Boston Like a Local
travel guide book. She is a graduate
of Trinity College and the Columbia
Publishing Course, and holds the WSET
Level 1 Award in Wines (Drinks with
Cheese, p. 10).
