PROJECT: Winchester, MA—High-performance net zero Acorn Deck House
This unique project marked Top Notch's first collaboration with Acorn Deck House, a
company known for the finest cutting-edge, prefabricated home designs. The build was
situated on a challenging topographical lot that required significant excavation and
blasting, handled expertly by Top Notch's excavation division. Despite hurdles with local
permitting, the team successfully constructed a single-family residence with a warm, natural
aesthetic. Notably, this net zero home is fully electric, avoiding the use of fossil fuels and
demonstrating Top Notch's commitment to sustainable, energy-efficient construction.
