EVENTS MAKING WISHES A From April 26 to 28, Medcen Community Health Foundation, Navicent Health hosted one of its most popular events, the Children's Hospital, Navicent Health Celebrity Classic beneting Children's Hospital, Navicent Health. Featuring a sold-out golf tournament, a gala held at the Idle Hour Country Club, and an opportunity for patients to meet local and national celebrities, the 22 nd annual Children's Hospital, Navicent Health Celebrity Classic weekend was a smashing success, raising more than $201,605. Proceeds from this year's Children's Hospital, Navicent Health Celebrity Classic weekend will help purchase the Mazor Robotics Renaissance™ Guidance System, which is used to assist surgeons during spine surgery. Due to our community's commitment to the Celebrity Classic, regional children will now have access to advanced surgical treatments for scoliosis and other spine diseases. The 22 nd annual Children's Hospital, Navicent Health Telethon was held May 31 and June 1. As in years' past, local television hosts Frank Malloy, Suzanne Lawler and Marvin James from Channel 13WMAZ emceed the event, along with Lea Fountain, a radio personality from Dublin. rough this event, Children's Hospital, Navicent Health raised more than $613,000, which will be used to purchase items on the wish lists of each unit at Navicent Health. Books for the Children's Health Center, iPads for the Child Life Department and wheelchairs for the General Pediatric Unit are among the items that will be added.
