HE THEME OF the Northeastern Retail
Lumber Association (NRLA) Lumber
and Building Materia l (LBM) Expo
was "Go for the Green!"
Despit e t he snow — t he s t reet s were
closed for the Patriots parade on the first
d ay — t he N R L A L B M E x p o w a s we l l
attended. Everyone got to look at new prod-
ucts and participate in educational events,
sa les training, three technolog y sessions
and four product education events. A panel
of experts discussed trends and opportuni-
ties for 2015. The exhibits, as always, were
very informative, with new products and
companies showing their products.
The lumber person of the year was hon-

I have a lways enjoyed at tend i n g t h is
event and really appreciate all the support
given to the magazine over the years. It was
great to see so many people I've known since
