Health Quest has a new leader of its financial division — healthcare financial management executive Gary Zmrhal. The Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the nonprofit Hudson Valley healthcare system has 35 years of related experience, including accounting and operations management, executive leadership and health information management. Zmrhal has held CFO positions at several healthcare organizations in Illinois, such as Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago and MacNeal Health Network in Berwyn. In New York City, he was acting CFO for St. Vincent Medical Centers and in New Jersey, for St. Joseph's Hospital. From 1971 to 1993, he was with the certified public accounting firm Arthur Andersen & Company, where he was a partner for 10 years. Zmrhal holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Illinois State University and is a certified public accountant. Orange Regional Medical Group is pleased to an- nounce that Robert F. Malacoff, MD, has joined the medical group practice as a board-certified cardi- ologist and electrophysiologist, treating patients at both Orange Regional Medical Group and Catskill Regional Medical Group. Dr. Malacoff received his medical degree from Yale University and gradu - ated from the internal medicine residency program at Yale–New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. His research fellowships include clinical electrophysiol- ogy at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and cardiovascular medicine at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston. Dr. Malacoff is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He has also served as clinical associate professor of medicine for Penn State University at Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Choudhury will work with Rolando Rojas, MD, and Egesta Mani, MD, in their Carmel office at 150 Route 52 beginning May 1. Dr. Choudhury has been in private practice in Carmel since 1984. He is also the Medical Director for Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation in Holmes. Dr. Choudhury received his medical degree from Gauhati University in India. He served as a lecturer at Gauhati Medical College and has published research studies. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New York Medical College–Metropolitan Hospital Center.
