"Digital radiography, including 3D mammography, and lab services will also be available," said Peter O'Connor, PhD, MPH, chief operating officer of Franciscan Medical Group. "Having these services in- house with our medical care keeps patients from having to run across town for multiple appointments. We will also offer Centering Pregnancy ® , a fun group prenatal education program, in a specially designed space." Additionally, the Pavilion will have a supervised, drop-in playroom available for children so parents can focus on their health during medical appointments. COMPLETELY CONNECTED As part of the CHI Franciscan network, clinics in the new pavilion will also offer patients secure online access to their medical records through Franciscan MyChart. With MyChart, at any time of the day or night patients can: > View health summaries > Access test results > Request prescription renewals > Communicate electronically and securely with their medical team With key services in one location, on- site childcare and convenient access to medical records, Highline and Franciscan are working to streamline your health care experience. You're too busy to travel from place to place for health care. Locatedat the corner of First Avenue South and Southwest 160th Street in Burien, the new Franciscan Medical Pavilion – Highline will house services for most medical needs in one location. MARK BENEDUM, CEO, Highline Medical Center "The Franciscan Medical Pavilion – Highline will be, first and foremost, a patient- centered facility that provides excellent care. Having multiple services under one roof will make health care more convenient and provide a new front door for our hospital. As a new, lovely facility, we will have the space to recruit additional physicians. We're thankful for the partnership between Franciscan Medical Group and Highline Medical Center that allows us to build this excellent resource for the community." WHAT WOULD EASY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU? When the Franciscan Medical Pavilion – Highline is open, you can skip the stress on your next doctor's visit. Imagine … • Arriving at the pavilion and dropping off your kids in the supervised playroom. • Being able to make it to the waiting room on time. • Seeing your primary care physician promptly. • If a lab test is needed, it is ordered and performed quickly in the same building. • After you pick up the kids and head home, there's often no need to wait for a phone call for your test result—many results will be waiting in MyChart, your secure online connection to your medical record, within 48 hours.
