New Electronic Health Records Over the next few months, Children's National Health System specialty care clinics will be transitioning our health information systems from paper processes and documentation to a single ambulatory electronic health record (EHR). The transition is being implemented in phases from June through early December 2015. During implementation, appointment availability will be reduced for a period of time to allow our providers and staff time to adjust to—and perfect use of—the new EHR. This may cause delays in scheduling appointments for your patients, and we apologize for any inconvenience. We encourage you to contact your physician liaison with questions or concerns.
