As historic architect, Gary restored the lobby and marque. Museum-quality display panels explaining the history of the theater were also designed and are now on permanent display. The termite-ridden auditorium was demolished to make way for a new housing addition for the elderly. This project received a preservation award. LINDALL HOUSE Formally a residence built in 1755 and later converted to offices, this historic structure underwent an extensive renovation along with a new compatible rear addition. The existing stone founda- tion was underpinned and the crawlspace excavated to became a full-height basement. Many artifacts and graffiti from the time period were uncovered.
