"We stay busy!" says Jim. Jim was familiar with the house and excited to be t he contra ctor chosen by architect Gary Canner to build his personal home. "The home is an exceptional historical house that has a beautiful brook running under it," Jim says. "We did everything from the interior frame stage to the finish stage. The interior and exterior trim is exquisite; working with an architect has its benefits. It was a great experience col- laborating with Gary because everything we did, he had his finger on. It was a real joy to work with him." The same personal connection figured into their work on the Sea Level Oyster Bar restaurant. "I've known George Kerry, the owner, for a long time and live very close by," Jim explains. "When they started the production meetings, I made sure I was there for every meeting. George gave us so much freedom to be creative. From the counter tops to the reclaimed wood, the steel and every part of the project we got to do what we love most: be creative! Be great craftsmen and make sure we delivered ever y thing he wa nted. I've never had it so good!"
