SAMGMA UPDATE At its Membership Meeting on Wednesday, March 21, the San Antonio Medical Group Management Association (SAMGMA) will fo- cus on a topic all practice administrators and physicians deal with daily in their work — the generational divide in the workplace. Cynthia Rosen from Strasburger Price Oppenheimer Blend will be the presenter. Age differences in today's work environ- ment often span 40 to 50 years, and even more in some practices. Rosen will discuss the Traditionalists, the Baby Boomers, the Generation Xers and the new kids on the block — the Millennials, Gen Yers or Gen Nexters. Each group has positive contribu- tions to make to the workforce in 2012. With Rosen's help, the audience will be able to better identify how these four very differ- ent groups of people become teams in our practices to make them successful. The final SAMGMA Membership Meeting for this year will be on Wednesday, May 16. This program will include a panel of physicians who will share with the audience the latest medical innovations in their specialties.
