A premier, full service radiology group Low-Dose Lung Cancer Screening Program at CRL CRL radiologists have developed a low-dose CT lung cancer screening program that has been approved by the MN Department of Health. How low is a low-dose CT? A person who undergoes a low-dose screening exam for lung cancer will receive a radiation dose equivalent to about one-half the yearly radiation dose the average Minnesotan receives from natural sources. Specifically, you are exposed to 3 millisieverts (mSv) of radiation from your surroundings each year, and a low-dose chest CT will expose you to 1.5 mSv. A screening CT is capable of revealing cancer at an early stage. Symptomatic lung cancer is often advanced and difficult to treat, let alone cure. The objective of a screening CT is to detect small, asymptomatic, curable cancers. Early detection is key. A low-dose CT scan at CRL could change your life. Additional procedures offered by CRL: Mammography, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Pain Management Injections, Cardiac Calcium Scoring, Bone Densitometry, General X-Ray, Virtual Colonoscopy, Breast Biopsy & Aspiration, Fluoroscopy and Breast-Specific Gamma Imaging For more information call (952) 285-3720 www.consultingradiologists.com CRL Imaging Edina 3955 Parklawn Avenue Suite 100 Edina, MN 55435 (952) 285-3720 CRL Imaging Plymouth 15700 37th Avenue North Suite 100 Plymouth, MN 55446 (763) 509-4720 Imaging to provide extraordinary
