Mor a Hpita 4 CRHEALTHCARE.ORG THE NEW SOUTHEAST PEDIATRICS FACILITY OFFERS MEDICAL CARE SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR LITTLE SUPERHERO. It's hard to fly high or run fast when you have a runny nose or sprained ankle. Sick kids aren't the only ones who need a provider—prevention and wellness are important parts of making sure your children can reach their full potential. For children in Whiteville and the surrounding areas, the brand-new Southeast Pediatrics features 3,000 square feet of space, dedicated entirely to the care of children and young adults as old as 21. The exam rooms and waiting rooms are separated into two areas—one for kids with illnesses, and one for well visits. Staffed by two providers with decades of experience caring for children and a team of support staff dedicated to children's health and wellness, Southeast Pediatrics brings high quality care to our community. ONE LOCATION FOR ALL YOUR NEEDS When Columbus Regional Healthcare System was evaluating the needs of our community, expanded pediatric services was one of the most important issues in the county. It was clear kids needed one central location for their medical needs. Why Well Visits? Between ball practice, homework and making sure you can take time off work, it can seem odd to visit the physician when your child isn't sick. However, regular well visits are an important part of keeping children healthy. Children grow and change so rapidly that tracking development is important to helping catch any potential problems early on. Well visits also allow you to build a relationship with your pediatrician. When you and your child trust your doctor, it makes it easier to rely on them for medical care if your child is sick. Well visits can also ensure your child is getting proper preventive care. Vaccinations, nutrition education and general safety tips are all important for your child's continued success. HEROES A HOME FOR HEROES
