CHI St. Joseph's Health Welcomes New Orthopedic Surgeon We are excited to announce that Dr. Brennen Smith, Orthopedic Surgeon, will join our surgical team this summer. A native of Iowa, Dr. Smith completed his undergraduate education at Iowa State University before attending medical school at Des Moines University. Following his medical education, Dr. Smith completed his residency and internship in Columbus, Ohio, and a one-year fellowship in New Albany, Ohio. Dr. Smith has been practicing orthopedic surgery for the past four years, specializing in hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasty as well as cervical and lumbar (spine) surgery. Dr. Smith's addition to our team will bring orthopedic services to CHI St. Joseph's Health on a full-time basis, enabling our health system to deliver expanded surgical services to our patients and community.
