FIRST-AID KIT
Ensure your kit includes:
+ a variety of bandages (large and
small, elastic and gauze pads)
+ medications (single-use pain
reliever and antihistamine
packets, antibiotic ointment,
and hydrocortisone cream)
+ non-latex gloves
FLASHLIGHT
Even if you plan to be home well
before dark, pack a fl ashlight in
the event of a dead car battery or
an unexpected late return on a
particularly twisty trail. Tape extra
batteries to your fl ashlight.
