SINCE 1955, NAECU has been a valuable member of the North Alabama community. Our main office, constructed in 1982, serves as home base for serving more than 10,000 members and handling more than $89 million in total assets. In an effort to better serve our members, we are remodeling this location. Construction will soon begin. The new main office will still have the hometown touch you have come to expect from NAECU. Live tellers and staff will be on hand to answer your questions, provide quality customer service, and help you achieve your financial goals, and you can enjoy these services in an updated, efficient environment. Lobby computer access will be available for member use. Whether for home banking or other electronic services, these computers will provide another asset to our members. Members with safe deposit boxes will have a larger viewing room that can fit additional people if needed. We will also have a community room for small groups, a request of our members in the past that we feel is important to accommodate. Other additions include accessibility improvements. The wheelchair ramp will be moved to the front of the building, and the remodel will incorporate enhancements in accessible design. IN THE MEANTIME While construction is occurring, members will have access to drive-thru services and safe deposit boxes. The main office of NAECU will either remain operational during the remodel or be temporarily relocated to another site within two miles of the current office. If operations continue at the main office, the remodel is expected to be complete within six months. If a temporary location is utilized, the remodel of the main office is expected to take three months. The most important thing to know is we will be open and available for members during the remodel. STAY UPƒTOƒDATE ON OUR PROGRESS AND CONSTRUCTIONƒRELATED CHANGES BY VISITING NAECU.ORG. "Renovations at the main office will benefit our membership and are long overdue. The improvements are expected to foster membership growth, which is good for all members, by demonstrating the success of the credit union's past and present, as well as our future potential." —Greg Olmsted, President and CEO of North Alabama Educators Credit Union THE MAIN OFFICE OF NORTH ALABAMA EDUCATORS CREDIT UNION (NAECU) WILL BE REMODELED THIS FALL.
