ORTHOPEDICS Mercy-Centerville is partnering with Iowa Orthopedics in Des Moines and is pleased to announce that Christopher Vincent, MD, Orthopedic Surgeon, began a weekly clinic at the hospital. Dr. Vincent's clinic takes place each Tuesday, and he will be available to see patients and perform surgery. He specializes in shoulders, knees, surgical and nonsurgical fracture care; acute hip procedures; knee ligament reconstruction; and sports-related injuries. Dr. Vincent earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver and received orthopedic residency training at Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed an orthopedic surgery sports medicine fellowship in Indianapolis, and he is board certied by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Vincent was the team physician for several Indiana high school football teams and Indiana State University. He was also the assistant team physician for the Indianapolis Colts football team. CHRISTOPHER VINCENT, MD PODIATRY Mercy-Centerville is pleased to announce the addition of a second podiatry clinic. David Wanner, DPM, now sees patients at the Mercy Specialty Clinic. Dr. Wanner specializes in surgical and nonsurgical treatments of the foot and ankle, and he welcomes patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. He provides care for common foot problems, such as general foot and ankle pain, athlete's foot, bunions, plantar warts, heel pain, and ingrown toenails, as well as the more serious conditions, such as sports injuries, foot trauma, diabetes, arthritis, ulcerations, and foot and ankle deformities. Dr. Wanner is a graduate of Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago.
