LiveUP moment WHILE THE HOSPITAL Chaplain was waiting for a family to arrive at the Emergency Room (ER), he witnessed Rhonda's act of kindness. He saw Rhonda, who was walking past the ER, notice a car outside the entrance. A lady was gingerly walking toward the door. Rhonda found her a wheelchair, and the lady mentioned that her husband had driven them to the ER but hadn't been in the driver's seat in over a year. The team brought out a second wheelchair to help him in. After the couple nished their visit in the ER, Rhonda was concerned about their return drive home. She volunteered to drive them. When they arrived at the house, she stopped at the end of the drive to pick up their mail, helped them get in the house safely and parked their car in the garage. Rhonda demonstrated the Mercy LiveUP mantra of being Exceptional, without Exception. Thanks to Rhonda Dixon, Radiology Administrative Assistant, a couple's visit to the Emergency Room had a happier ending than they could have expected. 5 Quick Ways to LiveUP Today 1. Throw away someone else's litter. 2. Text an encouraging note to a friend or family member. 3. Compliment a coworker onhis or her outt. 4. Add 5 percent more to atip. 5.
