++++++++++++++++++++++++ + + ++++++++++++++++++++++++ HOSPITAL ROUNDS +++ +++ CEO NAMED FOR VICTORY MEDICAL CENTER SAN ANTONIO Victory Healthcare recently welcomed Alejandro Garcia, M.H.A., who will serve as CEO at Victory Medical Center San Antonio. The hospital, slated to open in spring 2013, will be located on a 100-acre site named The Landmark and will serve San Antonio's Northwest Side, an area that is currently experiencing tremendous growth in business and population. "I'm honored to be chosen for this position and look forward to providing high-quality service to our patients, employees and physicians," Garcia says. "Our mission is to provide a smaller, more intimate facility that offers our patients the highest level of spine, orthopedic, pain management and bariatric surgical services in the area." Garcia has served as director of busi- ness development at Southwest General Hospital, regional director of business development for CHRISTUS Santa Rosa and director of sales and marketing at Kindred Hospital, where he entered the long-term acute care arena. Garcia is the proud parent of two boys, Marcelo and Stefan. He has been a member of numerous boards, including those of the South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the Rape Crisis Center and the Bexar County Medical Society Foundation.
