From the President
No detail is too small when it
comes to making our patients feel
better. It's with great pride that our
environmental services staff create
towel animals to greet new patients.
They happily go the extra mile to
make kids and parents feel welcome.
Dear Friend:
Change is constant,
but commitment
endures. We're proud
to share our most
recent change, the
renaming of the Johns
Hopkins All Children's
Foundation. The new
name aligns with
the hospital name and affirms the essential
support the Foundation brings to our shared
commitment with Johns Hopkins Medicine's
global reputation for research, education and
patient-centered care.
Amid our changes, our commitments
never waiver. In fact, they only become
stronger. The following pages illustrate our
commitments to seek top-flight physicians and
fellows from around the globe, to pioneer
treatments and procedures, and to build first-
class facilities to enable world-class work.
We're confident in making and meeting
these commitments because of friends such
as our recent William S. "Bill" Belcher award
winner, Tom Dorety and you. We know
your commitment to philanthropy also never
waivers, and we are humbled by your trust.
Together, we can achieve great things.
That will never change.
Sincerely,
Jonathan M. Ellen, M.D.
